KVKK Privacy Notice

In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), your personal data may be processed by Logitork Lojistik Hizmetleri A.Ş. ("Logitork") as the data controller within the scope described below.

2. Personal data processed

• Identity data: first name, surname.
• Contact data: e-mail address, telephone number, company name.
• Customer transaction data: the type of service, loading and unloading points, cargo information, date and message content stated in your quote request.
• Transaction security data: IP address and the date and time of form submission.

3. Purposes of processing personal data

• Evaluating and answering your quote and information requests,
• Contacting you and providing services in line with your request,
• Carrying out pre-contractual processes and the contractual relationship,
• Fulfilling legal obligations and managing requests and complaints,
• Ensuring information security and preventing misuse.

4. Legal bases

Your data is processed on the legal grounds in Article 5(2) of the KVKK: being directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract, the data controller being able to fulfil its legal obligation, processing being mandatory for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right, and processing being mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

5. Method of collecting data

Your data is collected through the quote and contact forms on our website, by e-mail and by telephone, by automated or partially automated means.

6. Transfer of data

• To carriers, agents and business partners to the extent necessary for performing the service,
• To customs brokers and relevant public authorities for customs procedures,
• To e-mail, hosting and information technology service providers,
• To authorised public bodies and institutions within the framework of legal obligations.

Because of our global agent network, your data may be transferred abroad, to the extent the service requires and in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK.

7. Retention period

Your personal data is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the retention and limitation periods set out in the relevant legislation; at the end of that period it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

8. Your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK

• Learning whether your personal data is processed and, if so, requesting information about it,
• Learning the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,
• Knowing the third parties to whom it is transferred in Türkiye or abroad,
• Requesting correction if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly,
• Requesting deletion or destruction under Article 7 of the KVKK and requesting that this be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
• Objecting to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems,
• Claiming compensation if you suffer damage because the data was processed in breach of the law.

9. Method of application

You can send your requests regarding the above rights, together with documents identifying you, in writing to Sekerpinar Mh. Nazmi Balci Cd. No:3, Cayirova / Kocaeli, TR, or by e-mail to [email protected]. Your applications are concluded within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request.
