Without handling your cargo, by combining road, sea and rail with a single load unit, we manage the balance of cost, time and environmental impact together.
In intermodal transport, the cargo stays inside a single load unit such as a container, swap body or semi-trailer, and the cargo itself is not unloaded and reloaded when transferring between modes. This reduces handling damage risk and waiting times.
With combined transport models, Logitork brings together road, sea, air and rail according to the characteristics of the cargo. In European transport, combining road with rail or sea can provide cost and sustainability advantages; we manage the first- and last-leg deliveries with our own road fleet.

Things you may wonder.
If you could not find what you were looking for, write to us.
Are intermodal and multimodal the same thing?
No. Intermodal is the carriage of a single load unit by more than one mode without handling; multimodal is the operation of more than one mode under a single contract of carriage and a single responsible operator. In practice, most shipments involve both.
When is intermodal advantageous?
For long-distance, regular and high-volume shipments, when you want to reduce cost and environmental impact together.
Is door-to-door delivery made?
Yes. We manage the road legs with our own fleet and provide end-to-end delivery.
What information do we need for a quote?
Loading and unloading points, type of cargo, estimated weight or volume and the date the cargo is ready are enough for a quote. If anything is missing, our team will contact you.
