This list contains the universal 6-digit part of the Harmonized System. It does not include digits 7–12 of Türkiye's 12-digit GTİP, customs duty rates and additional financial obligations, or the national tariff digits of other countries. Before using it in a declaration or quote, rely on the current official tariff of the country concerned and on your customs broker. The HS nomenclature is updated roughly every five years; this list will be refreshed when the new edition enters into force.
Tips for the correct HS code
- What the product is, what it is made of and what it is used for determines its classification.
- The same code must be used on the invoice, packing list and declaration for the same product.
- If you are unsure, you can request a binding tariff information (BTI) from the customs authority.
- A wrong code creates the risk of duty differences, fines and shipment delays.
